Jereme and I headed down to Ixtapa, Mexico for a week. Not pictured here are our swimming with the dolphins pictures. One of the highlights of the trip. I'll try to remember to add them later. Everywhere we went the people were so nice and appreciative of our business. When the US economy hurts so does their tourism industry. We met another couple from Minnesota and several form Canada. Everyone needed to excape the cold winter!
This is where we went snorkeling in Zihuatenejo, Mexico. Snorkeling didn't last long, the fish we did see bit us. Jereme was not having any of that. We laid on the beach and even with 50 SPF still got burnt.
On the boat to the island to snorkel.
We found this Argentina restaurant that had the most amazing food, great view, and great live music.
This was the view out our hotel window. We stayed at one of the smaller resorts but it was the only one with a view from the pool to the ocean without chairs blocking it. On the far right is the swim up bar.
Next to our hotel was this little beach cantina. We went there several times since we could go from the pool to eat and back to the pool in our beach cover-ups. They had fish tacos for super cheap and they were delicious! Eating in Mexico was one of my favorite parts. Neither one of us got sick.
Our rooms were switched and we ended up with two fulls and a beach view instead of a king with a mountain view. This was fine with us and actually better for us when we were so sunburned, letting the aloe cool our skin, while we watched Spanish TV.
